Welcome to Smith Lake Park! Located in Cullman County, Alabama, on the shores of the 21,200 acre Lewis Smith Lake with 500 miles of shoreline, the park is open for year round camping.

The park has 9 cabins; 199 full service sites; 5 water and electric sites; and 61 tent sites. Eight pavilions, playgrounds, a pool, fishing pier, a huge stage for special events, and new boat launch makes rustic Smith Lake Park a destination for fun and relaxation plus a number of special events and festivals at the park throughout the year. We are located within 7 miles of I-65! Come visit Smith Lake Park.

Take I-65 Exit #304, go to top of ramp and take a left turn (traveling north) or a right turn (traveling south). Travel 5 miles to Smith Lake Park sign. Turn Right. Travel two miles and turn left at next Smith Lake Park sign.

The large swimming pool facility with a kiddie pool and consessions at Smith Lake Park is a big hit
on hot summer days.


The annual 4th of July Festival features local musicians,
craft and food vendors and a huge fireworks show.
